I wrote "Hold On To Me" the day after I first learned of my husband's cancer. It was such a painful journey. I dedicate this song to everyone facing such a disease.
I'm not great with the recording equipment and I could have re-recorded it and sang it better. But I kept this version because I hear the pain in my voice. I know what I was feeling when I was singing it and it's like I captured the moments and emotions of a most difficult journey.
A journey we will never forget.
I wrote "Because You Love Me" when wondering what it would feel like if our 14 year old could talk. What he might say.
I dedicate this song to all parents who have special needs kids.

This is an audition for a local talent contest. It was a bit difficult being 4 months after brain surgery,
but still fun!
